Twang news from Phil

Right then, a quick catch up as a few of you have been asking what’s going on in twang world…

Well, all is going good people and we’re currently holed up in Twang HQ demoing a new batch of tunes which are sounding great - we may even have something for your ears in the not too distant?.

Also some of you may have heard that Stu is no longer working with us.  We’ve decided to go our separate ways but we wish him all the best and have since been working with our new guitarist ‘Jimmy Jazz’

We’ve all known of Jimmy for a long time through various bands and he’d been in my mind for quite some time as I’ve always been a fan.  I truly believe things happen for a reason and this is the best outcome for all involved.

Onto the summer… we’re currently booked for Guilfest on Sunday 18th which should be fun and I’m also going out to Aiya Napa for ‘Napa Live’ to do a spot on the old wheels of steel.

There will defo be a couple more announcements soon so as they say on Crime Watch, “keep um peeled!”

See you all soon and maybe see some of ya on the 23rd down at ‘This Feeling’ for the England v Slovenia game?

The Twang review iPod docks with The Gadget Show

Hit tech show ‘The Gadget Show’ recently enlisted the help of The Twang to rate a range of iPod docks and asked Phil to rate his top five.

The band recorded a special acoustic version of Barney Rubble and then listened to it on each dock, reviewing them as they went.
